DevCarnival is the foundation’s technology gathering. Its own line for the event is “Technology. People. Purpose.”
The next edition is Friday 8 and Saturday 9 January 2027, at Infosys, Mahindra City, Chennai.
The two days
What the event site publishes:
- Parallel tech tracks. Talks and workshops across AI, cloud-native technologies, backend and full-stack engineering, DevOps, data, system design, Java, and emerging work. Eight or more tracks, and fifty or more talks and workshops.
- Tech Pavilion. A hands-on floor of a hundred or more technology projects, developer tools, and working implementations. TNEBooks is one project on that floor.
- A shared room. Developers, technology communities, students, researchers, and people from industry. The site describes five audience spheres.

- Register for a pass . A pass can cover day one, day two, or both days, including the pavilion. Pass holders receive a welcome kit, badge, and T-shirt.

The gathering sits beside the Open Source Lab . The lab is where platforms are maintained. DevCarnival is where that work meets a wider room. Other conferences and workshops are described under Gatherings .
