Gatherings

Conferences, seminars, and workshops are one of the company’s objects. They exist to advance technology and education, and to give people a room in which to learn together — including people who meet the foundation first at an event rather than in a classroom.

DevCarnival is the named technology gathering. This page is the wider object: conferences, seminars, workshops, and events of a similar kind.

Tickets and the charitable objects

The company may generate resources for its charitable objects through reasonable conference ticket sales, subject to applicable law. A ticket is a way to sustain the work. It is not a reason to close the door on the first object, which is access irrespective of economic background. “Reasonable” is part of the object, and so is the law that governs it.

What is scheduled

DevCarnival is the gathering with a date: Friday 8 and Saturday 9 January 2027, at Infosys, Mahindra City, Chennai. Talks, workshops, and the Tech Pavilion are on the event site , and passes are registered from that site .

Institutions that want to host a seminar or a workshop with the foundation can write through the collaboration page, and say who the learners are.
